The short description is, I am a software developer. I mainly develop user interfaces using the Flash Platform. I also dive in and help with HTML / CSS / Javascript development from time to time. Recent experiances have led me to do some server side development using Ruby on Rails. I also have a lot of experiance with building FMS applications (Flash Media Server). These applications used real time video, audio and user interaction such as sharing files with each other and also basic user chat. I have even done some Java development.

 

I run the Nashville Flash Platform User Group
I stay really involved in the Flash and Flex community by running the Nashville Flash Platform User Group and posting development examples and tutorials to my blog. You can check out the group and join here.

 

Being a developer and using my skills to solve problems is the coolest thing ever and I love what I do. Companies that I have had the previlage to work for include Moontoast, American Song Space, Adobe Consulting, Digital Reasoning, Healthways, Quaker Oats, Yahoo, and many others.
